Unboxing my #RunUnited Philippine marathon race kit

I was so delighted when I received my Run United Philippine Marathon 2014 race kit last week. The event is the final and third leg of the annual Run United Trilogy which will be held this coming October 5.

The race will start and end at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Lo and behold I received a box instead of a regular bag like in the first two legs of the trilogy, wherein you can opt to participate by running first in the 21k, then the 32k and finally the full marathon.

Runners can also participate in the trilogy by running in the the same distance, the challenge of which is to finish better after each race. This year my goal was to run in the 21k events of the trilogy and post better finishes after each race.

 

I am also participating in the media challenge wherein the top three participants who garnered the best score in the event's points system after running in all of the legs will earn not only bragging rights but medals and prizes.

However, I have decided at the start of the trilogy that my focus will be to participate and finish.

Back to the box. You can see from the photos above and below the contents of the race kit. A box of Enervon Activ multivitamins, Active Health Sports Gel, a box of Enervon HP Nutritional Drink for Adults and of course the singlet, the bib and the protective sun visor can be found inside the box which I think was designed to artfully present the contents.
 

To those who are familiar with the singlet designs of the trilogy, they will notice that the design for the final leg is very different compared to first two singlets.
 

According to the race organizers the Enervon Activ is what you consume while training for the event.

During the race, the Active Health sports gel will give you the energy to finish the race.

And the Enervon HP is the best beverage while recovering after that monstrous effort to finish the 21 or full marathon races.

Registration fee for the Growee 500-meter event is P350, P800 for the Enervon HP 10K, P900 for the Alaxan FR 21K and P1,300 for the Enervon Activ 42K.
