THE Davao leg of the Salomon Xtrail Pilipinas will be held on August 25 at 6:30 a.m. in Davao City, organizers said during the Weekly SCOOP at the Royal Mandaya Hotel recently."It is a 3-hour adventure activity with the participants having to run from road to trail then jump, crawl, climb, walk and smile the terrain of the trail," said race management organizer Dax Ang.
The starting line is at Barangay Communal but the precise location of the start and the transition area will be announced only a week before the race day," Ang said.
The categories of the 12-kilometer race are the Open Male and Open Female with a registration fee of P500 inclusive of a Salomon race jersey, race bib, Beach Hut sunblock and snacks.
"We will have a challenging yet fun filled adventure trail run activity," Ang added.
Mt. Everest conqueror Erwin "Pastour" Emata of Everest Outdoors is the race director.
"The course will place demands not only on legs but also their character and determination," he said.
