Lead organizer Greentennial Run led by Engr. Rovic G. Canono has allotted six days to conceptualize and stage the fun run. This is a new record of sorts for the team.
In December of 2011, the first ever “Rescue Run” for victims of Typhoon Sendong had 12 days of preparations. A year later, “Rescue Run II” for victims of Typhoon Pablo was organized in nine days.
Aside from helping local calamities, Greentennial also held the “Run For Japan” in April of 2011 which raised PHP 500,000.00 for tsunami victims. Like all its other previous projects, expect a lot of surprises and fun side events in every Greentennial-powered fun run.
With many fun runs for a cause sprouting left and right, this is one that is truly worth supporting. The clock is ticking on the victims so action must be done quickly – the indestructible bayanihan spirit of the Filipino people will make everyone a winner!
