Ryan Mendoza and Jul Laiza Camposana topped the 42K event of the 2012 Subic International Marathon held last Jan. 21 inside the sprawling tourist and industrial complex, organizer eXtribe said in a press statement.
Mendoza submitted a clocking of three hours, seven minutes and four seconds to pocket the P20,000 top cash prize while Camposano finished the marathon in 3:58:10 to likewise bag the P20,000 cash prize in the distaff side. Both runners receive 2012 SIM Dog Tags.
In the 21K event, Jofill Sabado (1:20:44) won the men's side while Monica Torres (1:32:52) won the women's category. Both are now P10,000.00 cash richer following their victories.
John Leerams Chicano (34:19) dominated the men's 10K race while Merlyn Lumagbas (46:03) did the same in the women's division as they both went home with the P5,000 cash prize.

Runners from the United States, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore raised P120,000.00 for the programs that will benefit the street children in Olongapo and Metro Manila. Father Melo Diola received the check in behalf of CORPS and DILAAB Movement (see picture on the right).
