Havoc zombie run in Davao

DAVAO CITY – According to Lito delos Reyes, the head of Davao SCOOP, the Havoc Zombie Run is set on April 7 at the Abreeza Mall featuring the “zombies” of the city.

“This is not your ordinary fun run since there will be zombies who will try to steal or get your three flags from the track area,” said organizer Kelvin John Du of the organizing Dare Davao at the SCOOP of the Royal Mandaya Hotel recently.

The runners will try to keep at least one of their flags away from the zombies towards the finish line while running the four-kilometer track at the Abreeza Mall.

“There will be obstacles aside from the zombies. If they can survive the zombies they will receive a baller band and a certificate that states they are a survivor. But if not, they will get a death certificate,” Du explained.

There will be eight waves from 5:30 a.m., 5:40 a.m., 5:50 a.m., 6 a.m., 6:10 a.m., 6:20 a.m., 6:30 a.m. and 6:40 a.m.

Registration fee is P350 inclusive of a singlet, race bib, booklet, life flags, certificate, snacks and drinks. Registration is now on-going from 2 to 7 p.m. at the second floor of the Abreeza Mall infront of Shoe Salon or visit the www.facebook.com/havocrun.
